“Joy” and Other Updates
A piece of new music, and an explanation of absence.
It’s been another one of those times, where I’m absent from Medium for quite a while. I hate it when this happens, and I miss your work as much as posting. It’s always the same reasons that cause it; exhaustion, busyness and mental turmoil. The latter sounds worse than it is, and largely I’m on an improvement drive. But that doesn’t come without quite some struggle, and many things suffer as a consequence.
Medium is one of those things, and I feel terrible about not being here. Sure, I’m not adding to my personal oeuvre, but I’ve not been reading either. As per usual — some of you must be used to my rhythms by now — I’ll be back in stride for a little while as I try to keep on top of things. Each time, I hope to make that permanent. We’ll see. Once this is published, it’s time for a read; I’ll try to keep it up.
I’ve actually been working on quite a lot, and I can’t wait to share it all with you. Of course, much is Decent Land based, but I’ll also release Chapter Five of ACME. Finally, and most excitingly, I’ve worked on plenty of music. So, I’ll keep this post quite short; just to say, “Hey, I’m alive”. Much more will burst through now; it always does when I log in.
